Can we disable access to OAS web user interface on a SteelCentral AppInternals Analysis Server?

We want to disable the access to OAS web user interface on a SteelCentral AppInternals Analysis server. How can we do this?

Every SteelCentral AppInternals Analysis server is shipped with a an OAS running locally. This is true for an OVA based appliance or a Linux installer based Analysis server. The OAS web user-interface can be accessed from SteelCentral AppInternals Analysis server web user-interface.

If for any reason you need to disable the access to this local OAS web user interface you can follow the below steps
 

1. SSH into the Analysis server
2. Run the below commands
   
   >enable
>configure terminal
>no auth webinterface enable

This will stop start ngnix-external and after it is completed successfully you should not be able to access the OAS web user-interface from Analysis server web user-interface.

To regain the access to the OAS web user-interface please run the below commands

>enable
>configure terminal
>auth webinterface enable

This will stop start ngnix-external and after it is completed successfully you should be able to access the OAS web user-interface from Analysis server web user-interface.
