Riverbed Technology is closely monitoring the geopolitical situation in Eastern Europe. The safety of our employees, partners and customers is extremely important and continues to be our prime focus.

Riverbed is experiencing disruptions in Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, and Ukraine related to its hardware products and support services based on the shipping and logistics restrictions in region. Including the closure of routes in to and out of the area and impacts to its third-party logistics service providers. 

As the situation develops, we are working with our logistical partners to reinstate support services in the affected areas at the earliest opportunity.

Should you have need to engage Riverbed services in the replacement of failed hardware in any of the above regions then please, in the first instance, contact the Riverbed Support Centre [via: email, phone or via the support site] and open a case. Our Technical Support team will evaluate the request and work with you to limit both exposure and provide you with remote support.

Below is the current state of RMA (Hardware Replacement) as of 27th April 2022:

Russia, Belarus and Ukraine
  • Inability to ship replacement parts in to and out of the country
  • Unable to provide RMA/hardware replacement services at this time as our logistics providers have ceased their services due to the current conflict
  • No on-site Field Engineer [FE] resources available
Kazakhstan
  • Unable to provide RMA/hardware replacement services currently
  • All RMAs are fulfilled via our Moscow depot(s) which are currently unavailable

  1. How is Riverbed dealing with impacts flowing from the current geo-political crisis?  
Riverbed is closely tracking the evolving sanctions and export controls regime and assessing the resulting impact.  Riverbed does not have production, manufacturing, or design facilities in Russia, Belarus, or Ukraine.  
  1. Are there any immediate risks of disruption to products or services within the region?
Riverbed is experiencing disruptions in Russia, Belarus and Ukraine related to its hardware products and support services based on the shipping and logistics restrictions in region, including the closure of routes in to and out of Russia, Belarus and Ukraine and impacts to its third-party logistics service providers.  At this time, Riverbed is not aware of disruptions to the use of its products however Riverbed is unable to provide RMA/hardware replacement services at this time in Russia, Belarus or Ukraine as our logistics providers have ceased their services due to the current conflict.
