Portal: How to delete custom dashboards in Portal ?

Issue
The Home page lists all the dashboards present in Portal.
However the Home page does not give us the option to delete the dashboard.
Solution
While the  panels in a dashboard can be deleted by clicking the gear icon on the panel in Dashboard Edit mode the dashboards themselves cannot be deleted in the Edit mode. 
To delete custom dashboards, you have to follow the steps below in the Portal webUI
  1. Applications > Manage
  2. Click on the Custom Dashboards tab.
  3. Select the dashboard of choice 
  4. Click on Delete button at the bottom o the page.
