Issue
We have installed AppInternals 10.10.x on a windows server and we can not see any .NET processes under the Process List for the agent in question. What do we do?
Solution
Starting with SteelCentral AppInternals 10.10.x we use Riverbed Process Injection Driver (RPID) that watches for processes that are started and the modules they load. By default this is disabled for .NET instrumentation. We have to enable this explicitly.

Follow the steps below to enable RPID for .NET:
  1. Open command prompt as Administrator
  2. Navigate to below location

    <install_dir>\ProgramFiles(x86)\Riverbed\ProcessInjection\bin

  3. Run the below command

    rpictrl.exe net:info

  4. By default the status will read disabled
  5. Run the below command to enable

    rpictrl.exe net:enable

  6. Restart the Riverbed SteelCentral AppInternals Agent Controller and this should enable all .NET processes for instrumentation
