Solution
  1. Stop the Riverbed SteelCentral AppInternals Agent aka DSA service & affected Agent (e.g OS agent)
  2. Delete the  <installed directory>\Panorama\hedzup\mn\log\DSA_metrics.txt
  3. *OPTIONAL* If you wish to block existing allowed metrics, please run the following script, however, doing this will remove all of your data in the Agent for that DA
    Windows : <installed directory>\Panorama\hedzup\mn\support\RemoveDa.bat <Data Adapter> <Instance-name>
    Linux : <installed directory>/RIVERBED/Panorama/hedzup/mn/support/removeda.sh <Data Adapter> <Instance-name>
    Example : RemoveDa.bat DA-OS Windows
  4. Edit <installed directory>\Panorama\hedzup\mn\data\DSA_governor.xml & adjust the specified metric quota
    Example <quota metric="*\DA-OS\*\\Memory\\*" max="200" />
  5. Start the Riverbed SteelCentral AppInternals Agent aka DSA service & affected Agent (e.g OS agent)
Environment
  • SteelCentral AppInternals (SCAI) aka AppInternals Xpert (AIX)
  • Managed Node (MN) aka Dynamic Sampling Agent (DSA)
