•In 10.9 Shark release, up to 8 Storage Units (SU) are supported on SCAN-06170
•It is NOT possible to mix SCAN-SU-48TB and SCAN-SU-72TB platform.
•Also the storage storage units need to have the same RAID level - RAID 0, RAID 5, RAID6.
•All SUs will contribute to the same (single) Packet Storage volume
•If a SU fails or is removed, the Packet Storage will be inoperable.
•If the SU is connected again, normal operation is restored but a rescan is necessary (only through CLI).
•If the SU cannot be brought online, the Packet Storage needs to be recreated (meaning that the data is lost).
