VNE server installation error: LaunchAnywhere Error : windows error 2 occurred while loading the Java VM

Issue

If you receive the following error:

LaunchAnywhere Error : windows error 2 occurred while loading the Java VM

This is either a operating system issue or installer issue (the installer could be corrupted).

Solution

Download the installer again and the checksum to verify that the installer is not corrupted.  Retry the install.

If that does not work, try to install on a different system to make sure that it is not a machine specific problem.

If another system does not work, please contact Riverbed Technical Support.
