Why does the value of Voice.Packet End-to-End delay (ETE Delay) statistic differ from earlier Modeler versions and post 17.1 PL2 Modeler for the same exact scenario?

Solution

The Voice.Packet End-to-End delay (mouth-to-ear delay) calculation formula was enhanced in release 17.1 PL2 to account for De-jitter Buffer Delay. Hence, you will see an increase of around 0.04 seconds in the total delay. This change was effected as a solution to SPR-142931.
