When using Purify with an OPNET simulation, Purify gives the error:Purify: Couldn't connect to rtslave.

Solution

This sometimes occurs if the name of the static simulation file (.sim) is very long. Try renaming the static simulation file to a shorter name.If the problem persists, you may want to contact Rational technical support, as this is a Purify error.
