How do I configure a DPT ring to support traffic rates greater than OC12?

Solution

In addition to setting the appropriate data rate on the dpt_adv links, you will also need to change the Decay Interval on the SRP devices. The Decay Interval, which is an SRP Parameter attribute, specifies the decay timer and is by default configured based on a DPT-OC12 transmission rate. In general, the Decay Interval should be smaller for higher rates of traffic.
