I am running a simulation from command-line with the anim_hist preference. However, at the end of the simulation, if I launch op_vuanim with -auto_play option, no animation is played. Why?

Solution

This behavior is observed if the animation probe is not turned on.You can enable the animation probe in two different ways:Method 1) From the project, goto Simulation --> Record animation for subnet. It will setup an animation probe automatically in the probe file.Method 2) Edit the probe file directly. Editing probe file will allow you to setup custom, attribute, statistic probes as well. Probe file can be opened from the File --> Open menu. The default probe file can be opened from the project by going to the Simulation --> Choose Individual Statistics (advanced) menu.
