What is the use of the pointing ref.phi and pointing ref.theta antenna attributes?

Solution

Pointing ref. phi and pointing ref. theta are used to define which phi and theta on your antenna pattern the boresight is located. The target attributes are then used to rotate the antenna pattern such that the pointing ref. phi and pointing ref. theta are oriented towards the specified target location. This concept is further explained in the Modeling Concepts manual, NodeDomain chapter, in the Antenna Modules section (Nddef.2.5).
