I need to model an antenna with a beam width of 2 degrees.

Solution

I would suggest using a combination of the Antenna Pattern Editor and EMA. I recommend this approach because it is difficult to generate a detailed antenna pattern by mouse clicking in the editor.First, create a new antenna pattern in the editor and set the number of phi planes to 180. This will give you a resolution of 2 degrees. Next, select 'Generate EMA Code' from the File menu. In the resulting *.em.c file, modify the two vectors which have the increased gain. Compile and execute the EMA code.You may need to experiment a little to determine which vectors to modify.
