Issue

When attempting to compile my EMA code, I get an error message Unable to locate source code file in model directory.

Solution

You do not have to enforce the exact same directory structure, but your *.em.c files need to be in a directory which is in your mod_dirs list. Therefore you should either move your EMA files to a directory included in the mod_dirs list, or add the directory which contains your EMA files to the list.To confirm that your EMA files are visible to OPNET utilities use the following command:Pre-7.0:From a command prompt:m3_manfile -find -mf <filename>.em.c7,0:From a command prompt on UNIX or an OPNET Console on Windows NT/2000:op_manfile -find -mf <filename>.em.cThis will search your mod_dirs for the file you specify.
