I see no bit throughput or packet animations on my FDDI links.

Solution

Check to see if the FDDI Transmission Efficiency simulation attribute is enabled. This attribute will attempt to make the simulation more efficient by not actually sending packets along the link, but by delivering them directly to their destination. E.g., when any of the FDDI gateways or hubs sends out an FDDI frame, it would transport the frame directly to the destination, rather than send it out on the link.To see bit throughput on the FDDI links and to see packet animation on these links, disable the FDDI Transmission Efficiency simulation attribute.
