What is the maximum size of a packet in OPNET?

Solution

NOTE: this applies to OPNET version 7.0 and earlier. Later versions of OPNET can have larger packet sizes.Packet size in OPNET is specified by an integer, therefore maximum packet size is (2^31)-1 bits. This equals 2,147,483,647 bits or 268,435,455 bytes or 262144 Bytes or 255 Mbytes. Any packet of larger size will cause warnings aboutinvalid packet sizes.
