This problem is often the result of insufficient system resources. On unix perform a df -k command. Determine the amount of disk space available in the root, /tmp, and swap directories. If you find that a large percentage of these directories are in use (80-90% +), free up some disk space or increase your swap space. Also confirm that you have read/write permissions for the /tmp directory. If you do not have read/write permissions to the /tmp directory or that directory is full and you cannot free space in that directory, an alternative may be to use a different directory for your temporary binding directory, such as your $HOME/op_admin/tmp directory. To use a different directory as your temporary binding directory, modify the bind_so_unix script in your <opnet_dir>/<rel_dir>/sys/unix/bin directory. Edit this ascii file and change every reference to /tmp in the script to ~/op_admin/tmp . It may also be a good idea to save a copy of the original bind_so_unix under a different name.
