What are the connection status's and what do they mean?

Solution

Controller Connection Status Displays the current connection status of the SteelHead Mobile Client (SHM) and can be in one of the following states:

  • Connected - Indicates that the Mobile Client is connected to a SteelCentral Controller for SteelHead (SCCM/SMC) but is not consuming a license from it.
This may indicate, for instance, that the Mobile Client is in branch mode, or is not currently optimizing any connections.
  • Connected: Licensed - Indicates that the Mobile Client is connected to a Mobile Controller and is consuming a license from it.
  • Connected: Denied License - Indicates that the Mobile Client is connected to a Mobile Controller but is unable to obtain a license from it.
  • Not Connected - Indicates that the Mobile Client is not connected to a Mobile Controller.
