Aternity On Premise 12.3-12.31 Vertica installation on RedHat 8 fails to complete and displays - 'Transparent hugepages is set to 'always'. Must be 'never' or 'madvise''

Issue
Aternity on premise 12.3 requires Vertica 11.1.1-5 and Aternity 12.3.1 requires Vertica12.0.4.20.  When installing vertica on Redhat 8, the The Vertica installation may display the following message and fail to complete - 
FAIL (S0310): https://www.vertica.com/docs/11.1.x/HTML/index.htm#cshid=S0310
FAIL(eS0310): Transparent hugepages is set to 'always'. Must be 'never'
or 'madvise'
Solution
The issue is causes by a validation problem within the Vertica installation and can be resolved by adding the following parameter to to the vertica_paremeters.sh file used for the installation -

 
 VERTICA_FAILURE_THRESHOLD="HALT"

After adding this value please re run the installation according to the documentation -
